Novel Unipolar Optical Modulation Techniques for Enhancing Visible Light Communication Systems Performance

Visible Light Communications (VLC) are receiving increased attention in the wireless communications research community. VLC is secured, power efficient, and operates visible light range, thus RF communication bandwidth limitation overcome. In this article, authors enhance data rate, system complexity, efficiency, spectrum efficiency systems. An innovative unipolar transceiver proposed, mathematically analyzed, compared with other existing techniques it demonstrates to have a very high rate ratio (43.75%) good bit energy noise (Eb/No) techniques. Development for traditional asymmetrically symmetrically clipping optical (ASCO-OFDM) also which involves combining modified receiver ASCO-OFDM transmitter. The proposed reduces complexity by O (N log2 N) better Eb/No than conventional ASCO-OFDM. Detailed analysis, simulation results, comparison of systems presented beside brief assessment
